Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and CORTEXLUMORA PRIVATE LIMITED ("Cortex Lumora", "we") for the RigMatch app and website. By using RigMatch you agree to them. If you download the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies; where these terms differ, these terms apply to the extent the EULA allows.

The service

RigMatch suggests amp, pickup and pedal settings to get close to the tone on a recording using your gear. Tones are generated with AI from public information and estimates. They're a starting point, not a guarantee: results depend on your gear, setup and playing, and may contain mistakes. Always start at a safe volume.

Your account

You need an account to use RigMatch. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete it any time in the app.

RigMatch Pro subscriptions

• RigMatch is free to try with a limited number of matches. RigMatch Pro unlocks unlimited matches and other features, billed monthly or yearly.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of a free trial if one is offered.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel in your Apple ID account settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse RigMatch: no automated access or scraping, no attempts to get around usage limits or security, no reverse engineering, and no use that breaks the law or others' rights.

Content and trademarks

The app, its design and generated tone guides are owned by us or our licensors. Song titles, artist names and gear brands belong to their owners and are used only to describe them; RigMatch isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any artist, label or manufacturer.

Disclaimers and liability

RigMatch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for damage to equipment or hearing from how gear is used. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Ending your use

You can stop using RigMatch and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and tell you in the app about significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
